The planning of the complete reconstruction of a railway section between Polgárdi and Aszófő, which includes 15 stations, took place within the framework of two parallel projects. In one project, the task was to design the electrification of the entire railway section.
In the other project, which Unitef company planned in a consortium with CEH Zrt., the tasks included making platforms accessible, renovating 10 buildings (or designing new types of reception buildings), making station forecourts accessible, landscaping, and establishing P+R parking lots. In other words, the entire modernization of the stations was the subject of the planning task.
